month.

RTA is a non-profit. All income is
generated through fares, donations,
advertising, and merchandise sales.
The unpaid Volunteers who operate the
Trolley make Old 300 possible, serving
as Motormen and Conductors. Some of
these same people perform maintenance
to keep the trolley safe and working
properly.
The Operations and Safety Committee is
composed of volunteers who are voted
on for a three-year term at the yearly
Banquet. This body meets monthly and
addresses issues on trolley operation,
safe practices, finances, personnel
concerns, training, special events,
promotion, and many other facets of the
organization. Members are encouraged
to attend these meetings to voice their
ideas and concerns.
